McCamey County Hospital District offers a trusted Swing Bed Program — also called post-hospitalization recovery — designed to support your transition from hospital to home with expert care and the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Whether you were hospitalized in Odessa, San Angelo, or anywhere else, you can transfer to McCamey for the next stage of your recovery.
A Local Bridge to Healing
Swing Bed is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation program within McCamey County Hospital District, created for patients who need short-term care and rehabilitation before returning home. It’s available to patients with Medicare and most private insurance plans. You do not need to have been an inpatient at McCamey to be admitted into the program.
Common reasons for Swing Bed care include:
