Access to healthcare depends on people.
Buildings, equipment, and technology are important, but ultimately, caring for a community requires skilled medical professionals who can evaluate patients, make clinical decisions, answer questions, and help people determine what they need next.
Physician assistants are an important part of that workforce.
During National PA Week, Oct. 6–12, McCamey County Hospital District is proud to recognize John Adams, PA-C, and the role PAs play in helping communities like ours maintain timely access to needed medical care.
“John brings the kind of versatility, expertise, and commitment that are so important in rural healthcare,” said Mo Sheldon, FACHE, CEO of McCamey County Hospital District. “In a community like ours, having experienced clinicians who work closely with the rest of the care team and make sure people get the care they need close to home makes a real difference. We’re grateful for John and the role he plays in caring for McCamey.”
Recognizing the People Who Make Care Possible
National PA Week is celebrated each year to recognize the contributions PAs make to patient care and the healthcare teams they serve.
For McCamey County Hospital District, it is an opportunity to recognize the people helping make healthcare available right here at home.
This National PA Week, MCHD thanks John Adams, PA-C, for his service to patients and his contribution to healthcare in the McCamey community.
