Employee Spotlight: Jaime Ramirez, LNFA

McCamey County Hospital District is proud to recognize Jaime Ramirez, LNFA, as its July Employee of the Month and the longtime administrator of the McCamey Convalescent Center.

Jaime has served MCHD for 21 years, building a career defined by steady leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and genuine care for others. As Nursing Home Administrator, he helps ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and compassionate long-term care in a familiar setting close to home.

For many years, Jaime also carried the dual responsibilities of Nursing Home Administrator and MCHD chief executive officer. The scope of leading both organizations cannot be understated. His willingness to shoulder two demanding roles reflects his extraordinary commitment to MCHD and the community it serves.

Known to many as “JJ,” Jaime has built lasting relationships with residents, families, employees, and community members. His gentle and kind spirit is especially meaningful at the Convalescent Center, where trust, consistency, and personal connection help residents and their loved ones feel supported.

“Jaime is known and liked by all. He has a gentle and kind spirit that translates so well to the residents and their families, many of whom Jaime, or ‘JJ,’ has known for years,” said Mo Sheldon, FACHE, chief executive officer of McCamey County Hospital District. “As the new kid on the block, I have had a lot of questions, and Jaime has been very generous in sharing his institutional knowledge and insights with me. He brings smiles throughout the organization wherever he goes.”

McCamey County Hospital District congratulates Jaime and thanks him for 21 years of leadership, kindness, and dedicated service to residents, families, employees, and the community.
