Employee Spotlight: Nyla Baeza, CNA

At McCamey Convalescent Center, part of McCamey County Hospital District, great care starts with dedicated people. Nyla Baeza, CNA, is one of those team members who consistently shows up for our long-term care residents and coworkers alike.

Since joining the McCamey Convalescent Center in 2023, Nyla has become a dependable presence for both residents and staff. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, she plays an essential role in the day-to-day care of residents — helping with personal needs, providing comfort, and ensuring each resident is treated with dignity and respect.

Her commitment to stepping in wherever she’s needed has made her a valued member of the care team.

“Nyla is a strong part of our team at the McCamey Convalescent Center,” said Yliana Gryder, DON, BSN, RN. “We can count on her, and she steps up when needed. We are excited for Nyla and her future as she continues providing care to our residents, which is what she does best.”

Working in long-term care requires patience, compassion, and reliability, qualities Nyla demonstrates every day. Whether assisting residents with daily routines or supporting fellow team members during busy shifts, she brings a steady and caring presence to the Convalescent Center.
