Medicare Annual Wellness Visit
A Plan For Your Future
Medicare pays for preventative services because they can find health problems early, when treatment works best. Preventative services can also keep you from getting some diseases. The purpose of the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit is to create an individualized healthcare plan based on your unique needs. Its is not the same as your annual physical exam.
During the visit, we will discuss medical problems you may need to watch for and how to prevent those problems. You may receive preventative care such as a flu shot. You will not be given an actual physical exam, but one may be scheduled.
If you or a loved one have Medicare, you should call the McCamey Rural Health Clinic for more information about this important benefit.
Medicare pays the entire cost of the visit if you qualify - and most people on Medicare qualify. Call today for more information: (432) 652-4010.
